First Grade Teacher

I was raised in a small Eastern Oregon town, population 360 at the time. The little school was K-12. 

Yes, I do still remember my first grade teacher! And, yes, my favorite subject was recess!

Proud father to my daughter, Kaila, in her eighth year teaching, and my son, Tanner, who completed four years in the Navy and is completing his senior year at OSU. I am also a fairly new grandpa.

I have achieved my Silver Anniversary of teaching; 25 years of almost exclusively first grade.

When I am not teaching, I love playing music and kayaking. I run once in a while, too, but I don't love it :-)
