JA BizTown is an opportunity for students to play grown up for a day. 5th grade students learn how to operate and work at a business. At JA BizTown, students are given a loan and they have to work various jobs to pay back the load by the end of the day. They learn how to spend and save money, balance a checkbook, and work together as a team. Students prepare for the day by completing lessons about the economy and completing job applications.
