All About Me

Hello!

My name is Beth Sutton and I am the school counselor at Marion Visual and Performing Arts Magnet.  This is my 9th year as a school counselor in Marion School District.  Before that, I taught 8th grade Business Education courses for 14 years at MJHS.   I LOVE VPA and all of the teachers, students, staff, and administration.  They are the best!

I grew up in Marianna, AR, but have lived in Marion for over 25 years.  I am married with two children.  I also have a Lab named Lizzie.   The University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) was my home for four years while obtaining my undergraduate degree.  I also have a Master of Education in School Counseling.  

I love to travel.  Some of my favorite places are Colorado and Florida. A few of my favorite things are  Starbucks lattes, Mexican food, and shopping.
