Letters From The Editors
December 2025
December 2025
Hello MHS students, and welcome to our second issue of The Courier. I am really excited for, not only for the incoming holiday season, but also for the articles we have written for this issue. We have many articles spanning from the Louvre Heist, to the tornado that happened in Enderlin, North Dakota earlier this year. One of my favorite articles in this issue is written by Annika Peterson, “Christmas Music Sucks!!!” found on page 15. In this article, she shares her opinion about the overconsumption of Christmas music before the holidays actually start.
This issue is not only exciting just for the upcoming holidays, it’s also exciting because of the upcoming new staff members! More writing will come from us, along with a wide variety of ideas. Until then, please enjoy this issue of The Courier.

Hi MHS students, I hope you are doing well. The December issue is full of Christmas fun so please read. I’m excited for the new Sports Editor to take over, and all the new staff who are willing to write their best for next semester’s issues. So please read all that we have to offer. I will also not be back next semester so I hope my writing meets expectations. Thank you all for everything, please be sure to read my goodbye article on page 17.
– Kaysi Borchers, Co Editor-in-Chief
This first printed issue was definitely worth the wait! Thank you to everyone who has helped support The Courier via donations or by buying ads. We send everyone a very warm thank you! These reporters and editors have been working very hard on their stories. I hope that you enjoy reading them just as much as I did! I suggest cuddling up with a blanket and sipping a cup of hot cocoa while reading this issue! Stay warm and stay safe during the winter season!
