Many have had a day where they were just sitting in class minding their own business, and all a suddenly the class broke out into a full fledged war over what? Subject color. So after a extensive poll the people of MHS have reached a conclusion.
Forewarning the colors on the graphs represent the colors the people of MHS chose.
“I am right and everyone who doesn’t agree with me is wrong,”
-Anonymous
“My answers are 100% correct with no room for discussion,”
- Regan Lagasse.
English is blue by a poetic .8%. Other popular authors were Yellow (23%), Red (23%), and Purple(12.7%).
“English is pink because vibes,” -Lily Bradford
Looking at the extensive equation and data, the answer for Math is red with 58.4% of students coming to the same mathematical answer. The two other alternative colors are blue (20.8%) and purple (6.4%).
“Math will always be red, blood sweat and tears have gone into that subject," -Gavin Fry.
Science has grown green with 70.4% growth over its competitors blue (12%) and purple (6.4%).
“Anyone who doesn’t think science is green, is just flat out wrong,"- Lucas Schneider.
“Science is green, that is indisputable,” - Wayne Bradley.
History is more fronted with trenches in this war, but yellow conqured with a 24.4% majority. Two other conquring colonies to the war are blue (20.3%) and orange (19.5%).
“History is yellow because early explorers wanted to find gold in the US, and yellow is as close to gold as I could get (my parents wouldn't buy anything other than cheap paper folders)," - Mrs. Brothers.
Foreign language is as diverse as the languages themselves, but purple wins the majority of speakers by 26.2% with the runner ups being orange (25.4%) and yellow (19.7%).

The Extra Curricular catagory has a reasonable outcome due to the variety of classes represented. But the music from the band, the drilling from construction, beeping from the monitors, feet on the gym floor, and chatter of kids the color of the extra curriculars is pink with a 27.4% majority with purple (24.2%) and random colors (13.8%) following close behind.
“Lunch = orange with green polka dots, red and yellow stripes (Orange symbolizes an orange and also a cheeseburger, green is veggies, red and yellow are ketchup and mustard)," - Kaelesha Holen
“Band specifically is purple!!!,” -Kemper Lawrence
According to the statistics, English is Blue, Math is red, Science is green, History is yellow, Foreign Language is purple, and Extra curricular is pink.
The people of Mandan High School have spoken. Everyone has shared their opinions and reached a consensus. So now the people can lay this argument down once and for all… theoretically.
“There is logic to my thoughts: English is blue because (in my mind), using proper English is calming to my soul and blue is a calming color. Math is red because it is the color of pain (Math and I are NOT friends). Science is green because science is all about green things like plants and the Earth. History is yellow because early explorers wanted to find gold in the US, and yellow is as close to gold as I could get (my parents wouldn't buy anything other than cheap paper folders). As for extracurriculars and foreign languages, I never had folders for them (at least not that I remember), so it's up to you! I would choose purple for foreign language because I like purple and learning another language sounds fun. I would also choose a color for extracurriculars based on the extracurricular. For instance, any sport I chose would have a black folder (go Braves!), music would probably be purple or blue because I like those colors and I like music, and D&D (personal favorite club) would be red because that's a D&D color,” -Breanna Brothers.
