MSAD #60 Core Values
RELATIONSHIPS: We believe relationships are crucial and can be strengthened by clear communication between staff, students and the community.
LEARNING: We believe all students can learn and achieve to their highest potential with the support of staff and families.
ACCOUNTABILITY: We believe all members of our community are responsible for their learning, actions, and decisions.
RESPECT: We believe respect is demonstrated through the actions of leadership, staff, and families and is reflected in the student body.
MSAD 60 schools provide the opportunity for all students to learn the skills and knowledge outlined in the Maine State Standards. These include the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics, as well as the Maine Learning Results Parameters for Essential Instruction in Science, Social Studies, World Language, Art, Health & Physical Education, and Career Development. Maine has also been active in the development of the Next Generation Science Standards and we will be transitioning science curriculum to these in the coming years.
