Printing

You can initiate a print several ways

• Going to a File Menu>Print
• Utilizing a key shortcut Control + P
• Two finger mouse click and select Print

You will then see the Print Preview window (shown left)

There are several options on this window to control prints. The most important for students is the destination option.

Students should always be aware of what location they are printing to.

If you choose the see more option from the above image you will see a list of available destinations to print to (shown left).

Printers with the building icon to the left of them are the managed printers that will always be there.

We urge students to avoid printing unless necessary to save paper.

If you are printing an article, document or image that is not already saved to your google drive we recommend using the Save to Google Drive option. This will not print the document, but instead save it to your Google Drive for future reference or to share with teachers or peers.
