The MLB Season is almost here, and this article is going to tell you my opinions for what I think the 2021 AL Playoff bracket will be at the end of the regular season. Before we start, here’s a baseball joke: What baseball position holds the water? The Pitcher!
Yankees: 113-49: The Yankees have been building a World Series winning team since 2009, which was the last time that they won the World Series. This will be the year that it finally happens, after they clinch the entire AL in 2021 in my opinion. Especially after the addition of Gerrit Cole, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Corey Kluber, and many more.
Astros: 103-59: The Braves have one of the best talents of his generation in Zach Grenkie, and I believe that he, and some of his teammates including: Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Yuli Gurriel, and many others, will win 103 games in 2021.
White Sox: 99-63: The White Sox pitching core is truly something else, thanks to Dallas Keuchel, Lance Lynn, Lucas Giolito, Matt Foster, and many more. It’s not like the hitting and defense isn't good either though, I mean, just look at Jose Abreu or Tim Anderson. Overall, these guys are a 99-63 team in my opinion.
Rays: 96-66: The Rays have a very balanced team, with no player really standing out, especially after the departure of Blake Snell. The Rays all mashed together into one big homogeneous blob of talent. Which was enough to get the Rays to the World Series last year, and is enough to get them to 96-66 this year in my opinion.
Athletics: 86-76: A lot of people are down on Oakland this year, but I don’t know why. I know that they aren’t a superteam like the Yankees, but they still have a few aces, such as: Matt Chapman, Chris Bassit, and Stephen Piscotty.
Whoah! That was a lot of predicting! Let’s end this article off just like it started, with a baseball joke! Where do they keep the biggest diamond in The Bronx? Yankee Stadium!
