The 2020 election both made history with our first female vice president, and was one of the most popular elections. Not only that, it made the record for the most expensive election with 14.4 billion dollars. With the voting season not too far away and lots of advertising, nobody knows who will be our next president. Although we do need some info, so here is all the information you’ll need to head into 2024, regarding who our next president will be.
We have three Democrats running for president, including Joe Biden. We have 10 Republicans running for president, including one of the most famous presidents, Donald Trump. Although, Trump is on trial right now with four felonies for attempting to overturn the 2020 election, so that might affect his position, so he might be forced to drop out. A dozen Republicans are challenging Trump, but he is far ahead of them with his large reputation from the Republican Party. He still maintains a strong influence on the party’s popularity which makes it difficult for people to unite behind a single candidate in the fragmented field. Cutoff point for upcoming discussions will be higher because just eight contenders, excluding Mr. Trump, reached even the modest requirement of 1 percent support in sufficient polls to qualify for the first debate.
We have Ron DeSantis, another candidate who can give Trump a run for his money. DeSantis ran for Governor of Florida and won. He is currently feuding with Biden over some chartered Israel flights from the U.S. He took in a bit more than 11 million during his campaign and spent almost all of it. Why does he want to take a step further in his political career? Because he would like to lead the Great American Comeback. Will he fight dirty? Although, he believes in the No Child Left Behind Act, which fights to give children the support and attention that they need.
On the Democratic side, Mr Biden has only garnered two unlikely rivals. However, it’s not just the candidates that matter, the community matters as well. 3 6th Graders in our 447 community Aurora Doucet, Aria Morrow and Alivia Johnson both say
“I would like Biden to win,” and to help them win, Aurora claims to
“spread awareness of the election.” Aria states,
“I will sell Joe Biden art and make Tick-Tocks.” With the close votes, stick around to see the new or old, 2024 U.S.A. President.
