Why Yu-Gi-Oh arc-V is the Best Anime 

   If you're reading this you probably like anime, and if you like anime you probably have a favorite anime. However, while your favorite anime is probably something like My Hero Academia which is Marvel but better, Demon Slayer where the demon slayer corpse protects everyone from demons, or Naruto which is a samurai themed anime, in reality it should be Yu-Gi-Oh arc-V. Why is this anime so good? Well imagine a world where the economy is based on cardboard rectangles, people create a sonic boom when they draw a card, and there are multiple dimensions. On a more serious note, the anime is based on the card game Yu-Gi-Oh (which exists in real life,) but instead of being played on a table it can be played everywhere. Everyone has a dual disk which they wear on their forearm. It lets them use holographic technology to make projections of the cards they play. This base for an anime may seem weird to you but I think it appeals to Yu-Gi-Oh fans and anime fans in a spectacular way. There are many characters, each with their own dueling style, and the anime is action packed. Also, on a side note the English dub is surprisingly good. This may all be going in one ear and out the other with you though, so to really explain what makes this anime special, I’m going to have to dig deeper into the characteristics of anime itself!

So, what makes an anime special? Well, I've thought about it, and I think there are 3 main components that really push anime to the top.  The first is the fact that there are many different characters each with their own style. There are often episodes that feature special characters and zoom in on their traits and backstories. The type of stuff that is usually done with just the main character. The second special characteristic is action and a fast pace. By cutting to different camera angles, switching between levels of cartooniness, and a few other neat tricks that you probably don’t even usually see, anime perfects action! Finally, I believe that most animes feature a mix of sci-fi and fantasy that can appeal to a large group of people. Just imagine a battle in the sky between dragons and UFOs and you will see what I mean. This one's harder to notice but think about and I believe you will come to agree with me. I interviewed a few people and their opinions seemed similar to mine. Yuki, Nicholas, and one more person who preferred to remain anonymous all said they liked action best in anime. 

You may be asking if Yu-Gi-Oh arc-V really has action, cool characters and a sci-fi element but I assure you it does. It may seem like a card game-based anime won't have action but actually all the duels use holographic technology to make them have tons of movement and you guessed it action! Oh, and speaking of holographic technology, that's Yu-Gi-Oh arc-V’s sci-fi element after all, it's more advanced than anything in real life. Finally, Yu-Gi-Oh arc-V does have a lot of cool characters, and their personality is usually showcased in the decks theme which is really cool and original.
