Dear 8th graders,
This year has probably been the craziest year of our lives. I know this year was supposed to be our year. The year we have waited for since September 2017, when we first entered this school as 6 graders. This year was supposed to be a year full of joy and celebration. This year was supposed to be the year we graduated and went to DC. This was also our last year to see our last MS.447 musical which is Frozen. I know that this might not have been how we imagined our last year of middle school to end. But this year is also the year of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, but thankfully we have a lot of frontline workers who are doing their best to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Even though our middle school experience did not end the way we expected we still had an amazing experience. We have made amazing friends and had amazing teachers that have helped us through our middle school experience. We also went on different adventures like going to Camp Bernie and Boston. We will also be entering high school and starting a new chapter of our lives. And I know how scary this pandemic is but I have no doubt we will eventually get through this.
The hardest challenges are often given to the strongest people.
