They have both betrayed each other and loved each other and now they prefer to just stay away from each other. But when a sinister monster starts hunting off men from both gangs and secrets are revealed, they must put aside all grudges and work together. 

Looking for Alaska

Genre: Realistic Fiction

This book follows the story of a boy going to a small college and meeting a girl named Alaska, and what happened to both of them after a sudden, devastating event happens. It is a super realistic and sad book, about loss and life. It has an ending that will make you sob and it is really just a great story about how life can hit you in unexpected ways. 

History is All You Left Me

Genre: Realistic Fiction 

When Griffin’s ex-boyfriend Theo dies suddenly, Griffin is struck with grief. This grief sends him on a journey throughout his history with Theo, and the bits of history that he himself is ignoring. This book is a deep and sad story about two people’s history, and is wonderfully written. Adam Silvera writes the book switching between the present and the past, which allows for new twists and turns and an interesting look into the characters' lives. It isn’t always the most cheerful book, but one that will keep you captivated throughout the entire read. 

Only Mostly Devastated

Despite the name, this book is a feel good book that is guaranteed to make you smile. In this spin on Grease, Ollie moves to the town where his summer fling Will lives, and starts going to his school. But this Will isn’t the same Will that Ollie knew over the summer, instead he is closeted, obnoxious, and kind of a jerk. As Ollie gets to know this new version of Will, he can’t help but start to fall in love again. The last time they went out, Will broke Ollie’s heart. Can he trust Will enough to fall in love with him again? And will Will be willing to give them a chance while being scared of the judgement from the people around them?
