The Science School for Exploration and Discovery, M.S. 224 has developed an incredible sense of community over the years. Students, their families and the staff are happy to come to 224 everyday. Together we will work diligently to improve positive behaviors (PBIS) through incentives and actively teaching and supporting students social emotional development. With targeted teacher development and extended learning time for students, test scores will increase.

Parents, join our PTA! Our PTA is committed to all students at MS 224. We welcome your input about the needs of students, their families and the community at large. Communication between school and home will be stronger through the use of this website.

MS 224 will continue to partner with several organizations to open opportunities for our students. PENCIL, Weil Law Firm, The American Museum of Natural History, Omni Learn, Creative Connections, The Leadership Program, and Single Shepherds currently expose our students to the business world and career exploration. We will continue to have high expectations for all of our students and help them determine their life paths towards college, career and life-long success.
