For our 10th grade Pre-IB class, students studied great TED Talks, analyzed and deconstructed their techniques, and drew inspiration from them to deliver their own powerful performances. Students focused on global issues they were passionate about, learning to utilize rhetorical devices to craft impactful messages around these causes. By strategically employing pathos, logos, and ethos, students engaged their audiences while inviting them to make strong changes in the world and take meaningful action on pressing global issues.
