Hello Mustangs! It's been a pleasure serving MPUSD for the last 7 years and am proud to continue to offer mental health services/resources during Distance Learning.  Working with children and families has been my focus and will continue to be for the remainder of my career.

I grew up here on the Peninsula and graduated from Pacific Grove High School.  I  would take the next ten years off to begin my family and am the proud mother two; a son and a daughter.

Graduating from CSUMB with a Bachelors in Social and Behavioral Sciences & minor in psychology, I  began growing an interest in clinical psychology and began my graduate program at Brandman University.  In 2014 I  proudly graduated with a masters in clinical psychology with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy ~ and began an internship with Monterey Peninsula Unified School District.

Four years later in 2018, I  became a licensed clinician with the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences.

In addition to working with the school district, I practice Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in Carmel Valley, CA with the Equine Healing Collaborative (EHC), working with children, adults and families. Recently, MPUSD signed a collaborative contract with the EHC and, we now offer this service to MPUSD students.

My philosophy around therapy is that you are the expert in your own life and as such, will remain in the driver seat.  As your therapist, I am here to work alongside with you to listen to your personal needs and goals with a solution focused approach.  As we build trust, we work together on realistic goals, focusing on achievements and celebrating successes.
