Hello, I am Mr. Hufferd! I am beginning my fourth year of teaching at Wheeler! I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Growing up, I attended Millard Public Schools and graduated from Millard South High School. I attended Northwest Missouri State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in early childhood. Following graduation, I returned to Northwest Missouri State University to receive my Master’s degree in Special Education.

Outside of teaching, there are several other activities and hobbies that I enjoy. These hobbies consist of spending time with my family and friends, walking my puppy Murphy, traveling, and spending as much time as possible outdoors!

I am very anxious and exited to begin my fourth year of teaching as a 2^nd grade teacher at Wheeler! I can’t wait to get to know and work with your child throughout this school year. I am also excited to get to collaborate with each of you to learn more about your child and provide them with the best learning opportunities possible!
