When: Monday, September 29, 2025 at 5:45 pm (arrive by 5:30) or 6:45 pm (arrive by 6:30) Students need to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get unpacked and tuned. Students are invited to wear a costume to add to the fun. Remember, Vala’s is a busy place so please give yourself extra time to park. *If there is rain, please check your email because we will have to cancel if it is currently raining or it rained so much that the mud will damage instrument cases.
Cost: Students who are playing have free admission. One adult with him/her also has free admission. Just tell the ticket window you are with the Millard Orchestra and show your instrument to get in. All others are charged for admission. Children 2 and under get in free. You do not have to purchase the additional tickets ahead of time; they can be purchased at the door.
Parents are responsible for the students before and after the performance.

Friends and family are invited to attend the winter orchestra concert featuring the 4th and 5th grade orchestras in their home school's gymnasium. Students should wear nice school clothes, and should bring a music stand from home.

Students arrive at 6:30 p.m. and follow the signs for 5-7th graders. Wear nice clothes that you can still play in. All Millard tickets are on sale! The All Millard Orchestra Festival is a wonderful concert featuring all of the 8-12th grade orchestra students in Millard. This year it is on January 27th at 7 p.m. at the Baxter Arena. ALL 5-7th graders are invited to come play the big finale piece with us: Ode to Joy. The tickets are on sale now with this link TBA or you can skip the online ticket fees and call the Baxter box office at 402-554-6200. More information will come closer to the event but get your tickets now!

Hello 5th grade Orchestra Families,
The Southside Orchestra Festival is an event that brings together elementary and middle school string players. It is a time of rehearsing and performing fun music and meeting other young musicians.
WHO: Orchestra students from 6th Grade at Central Middle and Andersen Middle and 5th grade from Holling Heights, Norris, Hitchcock, Sandoz, Disney, Bryan, Rockwell, Upchurch and Neihardt
WHEN: Monday March 2, 2026
5:30 5th graders arrive for rehearsal until 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm Concert
WHERE: Central Middle School, 12801 L Street, Omaha, NE 68137
OTHER DETAILS:
· Students are to be dropped off in the front of the building.
· Due to student safety reasons, parents are not allowed into the school until 6:30 pm.
· Most parking available will be in the West upper lot off of N Street and you can enter through door 5.
· Bring a folding music stand if you have one at home, music, and instrument.
· Make sure ALL belongings (stand, case, music, etc.) are labeled with the student's name.
· Please wear a school t-shirt, if you have one. Jeans or other pants are fine!

At the end of the concert, all Millard Public School owned instruments should be turned in to Dr. Rom.
All 4th & 5th grade musicians and families are invited to attend this event at Millard South High School. The pancake feed begins at 5:00pm. 4th and 5th grade students will be invited to come up to the stage in the cafeteria to play Twinkle (4th/5th) and Best Day of My Life (5th) with the high school students some time between 5:30-6:00pm. Come for pancakes and bring your instrument if you want to perform. (See flyer below) 4th and 5th graders do not need to attend the 7pm concert.
