REMINDERS:
Student Absences: If your student will be absent for any reason, please call the Rohwer office (402.715.6225) and leave a detailed message OR email the classroom teacher and the office (sjdawson@mpsomaha.org). Each day a student is gone, we need to account for them. If a student's after school plans include daycare or SPARK, please contact them, as well.
Absence Letters: Consistent attendance in school is an important part of learning. Automatic absence letters are generated for any student who misses 8+ days from school, regardless of the reason.
Students are not allowed to transport any form of medication. An adult will need to bring over-the-counter and/or prescription medicine (this includes cough drops) to the health room and complete a med card.
Students are encouraged to have a change of clothes and chapstick in their backpacks.
Dress students for the weather (warm coats, hats, and mittens/gloves) and mark student names on these items. We go outside everyday it is above zero or feels above zero, and there is no inclement weather.
All students will be pictured in the yearbook for the 2024-2025 school year. If you do not want your child's picture included in the yearbook, please contact the Rohwer office by November 30th, 2024.
