It was great to see so many families at our One School, One Book & Art Showcase Event last night. Thank you to Jennifer Meyer for organizing One School, One Book this year. Also a huge shout out to Jane Buresh, Arts & Imagination Committee, and parent volunteers that organized our Art Showcase and all school art project. The pottery installation looks incredible!
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Staff Appreciation Week Committee, the Rohwer PTO, and to all the families who generously participated in honoring staff members last week. Your thoughtful gestures, kind words, and acts of appreciation have truly touched our hearts. Your recognition not only validates the hard work and commitment of staff, but also reinforces the strong bond between our school community and families. Thank you for your continuous partnership in making Rohwer an incredible place to be.
We are excited to share with you that we will be adding some enhancements to Rohwer classrooms. The majority of our classrooms currently have chalkboards. Due to the PTO's fundraising efforts and the generous support of our parents and community through the Fun Run, we will be able to change the chalkboards to whiteboards. Our staff is very excited about these changes that will happen throughout this spring. We are so grateful for all of the fundraising support of our community.
Inclusion Week: Everyone Belongs!
The week of April 21- 25, we will celebrate Inclusion Week —a time to embrace diversity, spread kindness, and ensure that everyone feels valued and accepted.
Whether it's in the classroom, on the court, or in our communities, let's commit to building friendships, accepting everyone, and creating a world where everyone belongs.
If your child will not be returning to Rohwer next year, please email Ms. Dawson (school secretary) sjdawson@mpsomaha.org to inform the school.
We’re beyond grateful to our amazing families and local donors who made Staff Appreciation Week truly unforgettable!
