Performance Courses

Courses are one semester and qualify for Fine Arts credit. Students spend time performing by themselves and in small groups, developing the practical tools of the actor. Advanced Performance courses often produce full-length shows in our Black Box theatre for the public and student body and can be repeated for elective credit.

Theatre and Performance I (9th-12 grades, Performance Based)
Early College Theatre and Performance 1
Advanced Theatre and Performance II (9th-12th grades, Performances, Prerequisite: T&P I with a 3 or better)

Non-Performance Courses

Technical Theatre students work on all of our season shows. Our original sets are built completely by our students, and our techs also work as lighting designers, sound designers, and stage managers. Students have the opportunity to specialize in lighting, sound, costume, make-up, etc. Classes are one semester each, and advanced Tech Theatre can be repeated for additional elective credit.

Technical Theatre Courses:

Theatre Technology (9th-12th grades, Advanced Tech Levels (9th-12th grades, Performances, Prerequisite: T&P I or Theatre Appreciation with a 3 or better)

**Theatre Tech may be repeated for additional credit through advanced levels of performance)
Theatre Technology Apprenciceship through Metro and Omaha Playhouse(11th-12th grades, instructor approval and application
