Main Stage Productions-Plays

Millard South produces 3-4 all school plays per year in the Patriot Mainstage Theatre. Participation is open to all students at MSHS and may include younger grades..  Both on stage and backstage opportunities are available.  Students with all levels of interest and experience are welcome.  Students wishing an on stage role will be selected by audition only.  Students wishing to participate backstage must fill out a technical application.  Audition forms and tech applications are available at auditions, at drama club meetings, and in the drama room 136.  You can perform a role and help with technical theatre on the same show. Rehearsals and tech days vary, but meet after school and some weekends for about 6-12 weeks.

Main Stage Productions-Musicals

The Millard South Drama produces 1-2 musicals each year.  The musical is open to all students at Millard South High School; students do not have to be in a choir class to participate. On stage, backstage, and instrumental opportunities are available.  Students with all levels of interest and experience are welcome.  Students wishing an on stage or orchestra pit role will be selected by audition only.  Students wishing to participate backstage must fill out a technical application.  Audition forms and tech applications are available at auditions, at drama club meetings, and in the drama room 136.  You can perform a role and help with technical theatre on the same show.  Rehearsals generally run about 8-12 weeks.
