Hello All! My name is Krista Kurmel. This is my first year teaching and it is shaping up to be a year of first for us all! I am very excited to start my teaching journey at North Middle School and with your children! I graduated from UNO in May 2020 (Go Mavs!). I truly enjoy reading and hope to share that love with my students! In my free time, I love to fish, play golf, spend time with family and friends, when there is not a pandemic travel and see live music. Please do not hesitate to contact me.

My name is Allen Thamer and this is my 14th year teaching at Millard North Middle School. Prior to that I taught 3 years in Lincoln. My wife is a NICU nurse at Woman's Hospital and we have 3 kids. Jackson is 11 years old (6th grade), Kylie is 7 years old (2nd grade), and Brooklyn is 3 years old. Our dog, Snickers, is going on 14 years of age. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and watching college football. GO BIG RED!!!

Hello! This is my 11th year teaching in Millard, my 4th here at Millard North Middle School. This school is truly a special place! I earned my Bachelors degree at Northwest Missouri State University, Go Bearcats! I also have my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University. Hello Mustangs! My name is Kelsey Lang. I am so excited to be at MNMS and with our students. I just graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Special Education. I student taught at MNMS in the spring and I'm so lucky to be a part of our team again. I enjoy being outside as much as I can. I love to ski, boat, hike, run, and watch my Huskers! I am excited to work with 7th grade students once again! This is my third year at Millard North Middle School as an Assistant Principal. Before that, I was a Science teacher in the Millard Public Schools district. I look forward to helping Team Sydney and supporting students to be their best! Roll 'Stangs!
