I am a native Nebraskan who graduated from the of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Elementary Education. I received my master's degree in Literacy from Concordia University. I am passionate about making the world a better place. Helping students discover and reach their potential is one way that I do this. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, baking, shopping, reading, watching college football and movies, spending time with my family an hanging out with friends.

I stem from a long line of educators in my family and feel proud to have a career that positively impacts the community. Education is not my only passion though. Pursuing peak health is a major life goal I seek to attain through diet and lifestyle modification. I can listen to podcasts about health day and night and never get bored. Music is another passion of mine. You will rarely find me very far from my guitar singing a tune about life's ups and downs.

I am excited to be a part of the Millard North Middle School team this year! My career began in Millard at Aldrich Elementary where I taught 3rd and 5th grades the past twelve years. I am currently working on my master's degree at UNO in educational leadership. My goal is to have a positive impact on as many students as I can during my career.
