Expectations
Be on time to class with ALL needed materials
Leave unnecessary items @ home (toys/fidgets & valuables will not be allowed in classroom w/o permission)
Leave cell phones silenced and in your backpack.
Distracting items will be turned into an administrator
Be respectful and kind to all people and belongings
Have manners, be considerate & include others...avoid drama
Turn in assignments on time
If absent, you'll need to check the Remote Learning page & then follow-up with teacher if you have questions
Participate in classroom activities...do YOUR best!
Figure out what it takes for you to succeed, & ask for help when you need it!
Note: Please dress and groom for success! You will feel more alert and better about yourself if you are clean and dressed in comfortable clothing . If you need personal hygiene items, clean or better fitting clothing or anything else, please see a teacher or counselor.
Consequences
Detention
Detention assigned by and served with teacher or office staff [before/after school or during lunch...parent/guardian will be contacted]
Note: DETENTIONS ARE THE MOST COMMON STUDENT CONSEQUENCES ASSIGNED and usually involve student/teacher reflection and problem solving.
Suspensions
In School Suspension (ISS) referred by teacher or staff and assigned by administrator [supervised by teacher and office staff during the school day...parent/guardian will be contacted]
Out of School Suspension (OSS) referred by teacher or staff and assigned by administrator [parent/guardian will be contacted about keeping student out of school and under their supervision]
Saturday School
Saturday School assigned by administrator for unacceptable behavior or necessary time for work completion [supervised by teacher from 8-11 AM on Saturdays...parent/guardian will be contacted]
Note: Other less frequent consequences are outlined in the Student Handbook or can be inquired about with an administrator.
