The Extended Essay is an opportunity for students to pursue a subject and topic that they are deeply invested in. Taking place over two years, the students pick a research question and pursue if through writing a 4000 word essay. Part of the CORE of the IB programme, the Extended Essay is the capstone to a student's IB experience.
