While homework isn't assigned every night, your child may come home with some. In our class, if students don't complete work in class, it goes home for homework. We will begin using our planners once we get into a full week of learning, so be checking that to see what work your child might be coming home with to complete! The expectation is that work that isn't finished will be put into their homework folder. Below is a break down of possibly assignments you may see as homework:
IXL Tracker:
You will get a new daily IXL tracker sheet each week. We will review this at the end of each school day. If you are missing a code/section you will need to make it up by the end of the week. These sheets will be turned in at the end of Friday every week for completion points.
CKLA Take Home Sheets:
We have new reading/writing curriculum. There will be one take home sheet per week usually. There may be some weeks where we don’t have one for the week. It is one sheet.
Missing work:
If you have any missing work from one of your walk to math, walk to reading or social studies, you may have to take it home to get finished up.
I will communicate via email if any changes occur in our schedule!
