Parents and Guardians,
Attached is information regarding the Muskegon Memorial Day Parades. This event is important to both the community of Muskegon and the band program. This is a chance for our upcoming 8th grade band students to immerse themselves with the Big Red Marching Band before summer rehearsals start. What better way to do that than to honor the many people who gave sacrifices for our country. The Big Red Bands will be marching in both downtown and Lakeside Parades this year. Attire for the parade will be full uniform (high school band) and black shorts or pants, black socks, DrillMasters (athletic shoes for 8th graders), and your student’s red Big Red Band Shirt.
