Note: Dates are tentative and may shift based on state guidance and provider updates.

• Information Session (All Providers): Tuesday, December 16, 2025 - 6:30pm-8pm Charles H. Bullock Cafeteria (55 Washington Street)

• Tour Week: January 5th - January 9th, 2026

• Application Opens for New Families: January 9, 2026 - TIME TBD

• Application Deadline for Priority Consideration: January 16th, 2025 - 9:00 AM

• Placement Notifications Sent: January 23, 2026 

• District Registration Opens for Accepted Families: January 26, 2025

If your child has been placed at a provider location (MCPK, Neighborhood Childcare, YMCA, MCDC, MSU), you will need to complete the registration for BOTH Montclair Public Schools AND the assigned provider location. For DLC, Nishuane, CHB, and Hillside only the MPS registration is required. Please DO NOT complete these forms if you are on the waiting list and have not been assigned a location.
