Borough School

Overview

Virtual classes would be facilitated by our Borough School teaching staff through Google Classroom on a modified schedule. Students will be required to log into their district issued G-Suite accounts to access Google Classroom, log attendance, and virtually connect to their assigned teachers during scheduled class periods. The focus of the MPSD VIP at the 3rd-8th grade level is to ensure that adequate learning time is spent engaging in the various instructional areas as defined by the district curriculum. These areas include, but are not limited to, reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, health, Spanish, and related arts. Conferences/discussions will be available and hosted through a variety of methodologies, including online discussion, a synchronous video feed with backchannel opportunities for questions from students, and other online resources. Students should engage in daily assigned learning activities made available via Google Classroom.

Locating your child's G-Suite account and password:

• All student login information can be retrieved via the Genesis parent/student portal (CLICK HERE). This information can be found under the child's picture on the left hand side of the summary page.

Finding a teacher's Google Classroom page:

• CLICK HERE to access Google Classroom. When logged in, your child should see all classrooms they are a part of. If you do not see a specific Google Classroom, please contact your child's teacher, as they can add them as a student.
