About Me

Hello!
I am a lifelong resident of Morris Plains, and actually graduated from Borough School myself, as did my two sons, Brian and Bradley. I attended Towson State University in Maryland, where I earned my Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Previously, I worked at Morristown Medical Center in the Department of Pediatrics, and for Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Medical Research. I was the School Nurse at Borough from 1997-2017. I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to move to Mountain Way in 2018 to work with the younger student's of our district.

I truly believe that the desire to help people, through nursing, is a calling. I chose nursing as my profession because I feel drawn toward helping those in need. My personal philosophy is that, as a nurse, I have a responsibility to provide compassionate, confidential, individualized, holistic, patient-centered care, utilizing my best clinical judgment. Nursing is my life! I try to treat every student that walks through the door as if they were one of my own, and if I have made a difference in just one of their lives, then I have done my job, to the best of my ability, for that day.

When I am not working, I love walking my dog, spending time with my two sons, family and friends, swimming, gardening, and especially baking!!!!
