It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the principal of Borough School. Prior to be named principal of Borough School, I served the children and community of the Morris Plains School District for seventeen years in a variety of positions including classroom teacher, co-teacher, achievement coach, team leader, curriculum writer, and athletic coach. My time in each of these roles has allowed me to have a positive impact on this community and has inspired my desire to contribute to the success of our school district in this more formal leadership capacity. I always look forward to engaging the students, parents, and teachers in conversations about how we as a community can build on the great successes of Borough School to provide not only a first-class education, but an experience that will best prepare our students for future success no matter what path they may choose.
My experiences have fostered in me a passion for helping students reach their potential academically, while also developing strong character and emphasizing the value of citizenship. As an educational leader, I strongly believe that by establishing a collaborative learning environment with high expectations, we will build positive relationships that support academic, social and emotional growth. I will work closely with the students, staff, and families of Borough School to achieve this goal and continue to strengthen our commitment to educational excellence.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns; or if I can help in any possible way.
Mr. Posey

I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at the Borough School. As someone who was raised in Morris County, I take great pride in being able to work in your community. My educational background includes earning an undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University. I have 17 years of teaching experience as a Health and Physical Education teacher for grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Over those 17 years I have served as a team leader, club advisor, led district initiatives, and continuously found new ways to positively improve the school environment. I also took great pride in being the head coach for the boys basketball team, track & field team, and cross country team. Through hard work and commitment we were able to win multiple middle school championships in each sport.
I look forward to getting to know the students, faculty, parents, and community members in Morris Plains. I am excited about fully immersing myself in our school and the upcoming year. I believe in supporting each student and holding them to a high standard so they can ultimately succeed in achieving all their goals. I am committed to creating a school environment based on trust, respect, safety, and support. This allows each student to not only thrive academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
We wholeheartedly welcome your support, involvement, and participation in our esteemed school, and we eagerly anticipate collaborating with you and your student(s).
