Meet our Staff!

Kimberly Rodriguez

Kimberly is Director of the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble.  She has been teaching in Middletown for the last 12 years.  Currently, she teaches Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Piano, Electronic Music, and Hip Hop.   She has been lucky enough to be past Tri-M Advisor and musical pit director.   She even had the opportunity to be on the Connecticut Music Educator's Association in 2018 and run the elementary honors band in its inaugural year.

Kimberly went to UConn and received a BA in Bassoon and Education.  While in college, she played sousaphone in the UCONN Marching Band and was Soprano 1 in the small female a cappella group, Rubyfruit.  After her initial schooling, she went on to receive her Masters in Special Education.

Kimberly's family has doubled since she left the high school in 2017.  She now has two beautiful children, Lawrence (2) and Lillabelle (1) that she loves very much.

Kelsi Harmon

Kelsi Harmon is the Assistant Band Director for the Middletown Marching Band as well as the Concert Band. Kelsi graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Music Education. 

Kelsi has been performing and teaching the marching arts for over ten years, traveling as far as Indianapolis, IN for various marching clinics and competitions. 

In her free time, she participates in Crossfit, mountain biking, video games and spends time with her two dogs, two cats and her husband Adam.

Abbey Girasuolo

Abbey Girasuolo is the Color Guard Coach for the fall marching band season. She is an Alumni of Middletown High School as well as the Color Guard and has been part of both the University of Rhode Island Color Guard and University of New Haven Color Guard. She have previously been a building substitute teacher at both WWMS and at MHS.
