Course Description

This course offers the introduction of the elements of design, including: line, shape, space, color, value, form and texture.These elements will be studied and applied in a variety of media and art techniques. Students will work with drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and collage, while incorporating the elements of design.Art History, Art criticism and aesthetics will also be covered in this course.
