What is Math Intervention?

We believe that all students can make sense of mathematics.  Some students just need more time, more opportunities, and more support than others.  Our approach to math intervention emphasizes problems solving, the use of visual models, and a focus on developing fluency. 

We use the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) model to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3  research based interventions for those students who are in need of additional support.  

Math interventions are provided 1:1 or in a small group setting.
