I have taught at Seward Montessori for twenty five years.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and I attended the College of St. Catherine for my Masters of Arts degree in Montessori Education.  I returned to the University of Minnesota to earn an additional Reading Licensure in 2011.  I am married and I have two children named Samuel (20) and Dinko (16).  I love seeing the world and have been to five of the seven continents, and I hope to visit Antarctica and Australia in years to come.  I also like taking long road trips that get us away from cell towers and wifi.  One of my favorite things to do is to sit around a campfire and listen to my children’s stories.  As a reading teacher, it is not a surprise that I enjoy books too.  I love how books provide a window into lives, times and worlds different than my own.
