Registration 25-26 Update
Hello Families,
Now that the 2025-2026 Registration Process has begun, counselors would like to remind you that we will be working with your students for the first two weeks of February, answering their questions about course options, graduation requirements, and future plans. That said, we will do our best to respond to your emails within 24 hours, but just know that the response time may be a little delayed.
In the meantime, here are some important dates for opportunities to connect with us.
February 3rd- During 1st and 2nd Lunch in the College and Career Center, students interested in PSEO will be able to receive information on FAQs, applications, and the registration timeline for applying
February 13th—During in-person Parent/Teacher Conferences, counselors will hold two information sessions for parents. If you want to learn more about the 2025-2026 Registration Process, there will also be an in-person session in the College and Career Center at 6 p.m.
If you are a parent and want to learn more about the PSEO process, there will be an information session for parents in the College and Career Center at 6:45 p.m.
February 14th—If you are a parent and missed the 2025-2026 Registration Process information session and PSEO information session, counselors are holding virtual sessions during parent/teacher conferences. Below are the times and links to save!

Southwest Counselors
Cross Country Ski
The Southwest girls' cross country ski team won the Minneapolis Conference meet on Tuesday, reclaiming the conference title for the first time since 2019. Five Lakers finished in the top 10, led by junior Tessa Dahlquist. The Southwest boys finished in third place, led by sophomore Riley Cox, who finished seventh. The teams compete at sections next Thursday at Wirth Park, starting at 10 a.m.
