For the background I wanted to create a scary or uncomfortable feeling for the viewer when they see the background or the whole photo. I was inspired by Billie Eilish animations she has for her concerts, a black background with white glowing eyes which is really cool to me. The goal for this piece is to represent that scary feeling when a person is tied up in a nightmare or perhaps living a nightmare, the girl has purple under the eyes to mask the loss of sleep.

This is my not so self portrait. I wanted to create a piece that reflected who I am without it being an exact image. I incorporated some of my favorite plants, one of my favorite outfits, and someone who looks like me but isn’t exactly.
