Course Description: Beginning Choir (Cantare/Cantemos) Grades: 9 Term: Year Course Prerequisite(s): None Beginning choir is where you start your choir journey here at Southwest. If you’re a 9th grader, then sign up for Beginning Choir! Note-reading and musical concepts are learned, as are the fundamentals of healthy and expressive singing. Students are exposed to music from varied genres and time periods. The group performs numerous concerts per year. Prior experience is not necessary.
