MYP Assessment

Assessment in the Middle Years Program is based on 8-point rubrics created by IB, with 4 rubrics per subject area. Teachers take these rubric templates and design assessments that fit the content of their class. Each of the 4 criteria should be assessed twice per year in each subject, which means that students should be able to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways, not just tests.  Below are the 4 criteria for each MYP subject area.
