College Admissions
POLICIES
All colleges and universities have unique policies in regards to which transfer credits and exam scores they will accept for credit at their institution. For example, some will accept scores for credit, but only for elective credit. Others only accept Higher Level courses, not Standard Level. Each university, and sometimes even individual departments within the university, will have different policies.
Because there are so many different policies and they are always changing, it's important to go to the university website for the most up-to-date information. The spreadsheet below can help you get started, but googling "university name + international baccalaureate policy" will usually find you the answers you need.
PROCESS
Take your IB course , including internal and external assessments. Do your best!
As you begin to research colleges, note which will accept your IB exam scores (or PSEO grades) and how they will be applied.
In May of your senior year, the IB Coordinator will help you send transcripts to the school of your choice.
