Earn the IB Certificate or RHS Careers Medallion

Students can begin taking IB Diploma Program classes and Careers Classes as early as 10th grade, but most begin in 11th grade.  The IB Coordinators will visit all 10th grade classes to explain options for taking advanced classes in 11th and 12th grade, and going for the IB Certificate or RHS Careers Medallion if you choose.

It can be fun and challenging, learning while you do assignments and projects. You are growing and pushing yourself; with support. IBCP Prepares you for college, doing the reflective project has helped me feel ready for college.

Daisy Arroyo class of 2021

Learning about yourself, and learning how to reflect on different things in school and life. For me, I reflected on my own identity, and got to know my peers on a different/new level. The projects, like making blankets and pen pals, have helped us to connect with our community, and also have been fun and a break from all of the heavy things going on in life.

Itzel Torres class of 2021

The connections we were able to make with guests from our career areas, and link to people who are doing what I aspire to do in the field was really helpful.
