ELP Teachers

Mr. Broeg earned his bachelors and masters in Business Administration before earning an additional MA in Special Education and a Talented & Gifted endorsement. Prior to working in education he spent 12 years in the business world. In his spare time he enjoys reading, watching sports, and traveling.

Mrs. Rensema is the K-8 Enrichment Learning Program Teacher, MS Math Olympiads & Mathleague coach, and Future Problem Solving coach.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts & Elementary Education from Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia and earned her Talented and Gifted Endorsement from the University of Iowa. Before coming to teach at Mid Prairie, she interned at a Montessori school in Washington DC, worked in a K-12 tutoring center in Iowa, taught grades 3-8 and then moved into administrative roles at a small school on a Native reservation in Arizona.

Mrs. Rensema loves working with a wide range of ages in academic, cognitive, and social-emotional development. Her other interests include spending time with family and friends from across the country, traveling, and experiencing local cuisine, cultural events, museums, and concerts.
