How to Set Up Google Authenticator
Introduction
The Google Authenticator App on the Salon's iPad Tablet can provide mandatory Two-Step Verification capabilities instead of having to use your personal mobile phone. This page shows you how to set up Google Authenticator to protect your Salon's Google Account. The final two steps allow you to remove your personal mobile phone from the system.
Before You Begin
Open your Internet Browser.
Log in to your Gmail Account as usual.
Locate the Salon's iPad Tablet. You'll need it to complete this process.
Click on the S Icon

The icon is in the upper right corner of your browser and new window should popup.
Note: Your screen may show Moxie Management next to your S Icon.
Click on Manage your Google Account

Click on Security

The Security Link is on the left side of the page.
Enter your Gmail Password

Click on 2-Step Verification

You might need to scroll down to see the 2-Step Verification section.
Click on Authenticator App
Click on Authenticator App
Open the iPad Authenticator App
Open the iPad Authenticator App
Locate the Salon's iPad Tablet
Tap on the Authenticator App
Tap on Get Started
Tap on Scan a QR code
Click on Set up Authenticator
Click on Set up Authenticator
Scan the QR Code and Click Next
Move the iPad so that the QR Code appears inside the green square. The App will move to the next screens when it recognizes the QR Code.
Enter the 6-digit number and Click Verify
The six digit number will change every few seconds. Enter the number and click verify.
Remove your Mobile Phone - Step 1
On the 2-Step Verification page, click on the arrowhead in the Voice or text message (Default) box.
Remove your Mobile Phone - Step 2
Click on the trash can for all of the mobile phone entries.
