Overview
Join us for multiple sessions designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to create a positive and effective coaching environment. The sessions will include both on and off-court sessions.Â
On-Court Session:
USTA Player Development session - This session will provide coaches with practical tools and strategies for developing players' skills and abilities.
Off-Court Sessions:
Positive Coaching Alliance Session- This session will focus on teaching coaches how to create a positive and supportive coaching environment that promotes player development and enjoyment of the game.
Dr. Earlyn Lauer Mental Skills Session on Journaling- This session will teach coaches how to use journaling to help players develop mental toughness, improve focus and overcome challenges.
An evening of networking and socializing: The sessions will conclude with an opportunity to connect with other coaches, share ideas and learn from each other.

Target Audience:
The Coach Education sessions are designed for coaches of all levels, from youth to high school to college
Cost:
The cost of the workshop is $65 (if you are attending the USTA Missouri Valley Annual Meeting the Coach Education Sessions are available to you at no extra cost)

The workshop will be held at the Sheraton Overland Park and Overland Park Racquet Club
