LEARNING TARGETS
First American project
Learning targets were about understanding how some of the early people to live in North America adapted to their climates and geography.
TWO ROADS PODCAST
Learning targets were about recognizing how characters change/grow in a book, identifying themes in a book, discussing how an important chapter from a book connects to a theme from the book.
In this project we researched our Native American region for our exhibitions. We built a model of their living styles and made a slideshow to go along with the model.
In this project we were given a region of Native Americans to research and then make a model of there housing, climate, geographic features, and adaptations putting them all together in to one big creation.
In this project we would get a partner and go on Canva with them. We would then bring all we learned about the mayans and put it on slides. We would then put the slides into a 1-2 minute recording.
This is an awareness poster about modern day slavery. I chose to make this because I was reading an article about how popular chocolate companies like mars are hiring people to cut the cocoa pods to get the seeds but hey are only getting paid 50-75 cents a day.
The first thing I did when working on this project is choose a recipe. I would then work with my partner to find ingredients that were a part of the Colombian exchange that were in the recipe. We then made a menu telling the history of said ingredients. We would then make our food and then let the parents taste it in the presentation.
