Waves Long-Term Learning Target: I can demonstrate my understanding of wave physics by designing and constructing an escape room that incorporates these principles effectively.
This anchor chart was used for us to write what happens in science class each day so that we can remember it and stay on top of our work. I got a Meets on this because I included everything I needed to. I hope to get at least a meets on my next anchor chart. I will make sure I get everything done day of for next time so that it is still fresh in my brain from what we learned that day.
This quiz was about what we had learned in science class so far about waves. I got an approaching on this quiz because I got 7/10 questions right. I didn't really understand this very well and I could have studies better. I want to study better and read questions fully for the future quizzes.
During the exhibition, the players did a great job collaborating and using each other's strengths to solve puzzles. They communicated well and felt totally immersed in the submarine theme thanks to all the cool props and artifacts. While they learned a lot about light and sound waves, some players were confused about the goals at first and needed extra hints to finish on time. If the team did it again, they would switch to physical clues instead of digital ones and make the costumes less hot. Overall, the project was a huge success because the group worked so well together and stayed productive while having fun.
