At the beginning of the year I made goals for my ALP and heres how I am doing so far:
Goal #1: Rylan will score in the Late 8 range of the Geometry domain of the End of the Year i-Ready math diagnostic test.

Evidence: Highlight questions from Math 1 Final that relate to geometry:
Goal #2: Rylan will score in the Early 9 range of the Reading Comprehension: Fiction domain of the End of the Year i-Ready reading diagnostic test.

Evidence: Working in a small group for reading. This is helping because the audio book is error-free and hearing the text while reading improves your understanding. Moving forward, Rylan will listen to audio books for all class-assigned books.
Goal #3: By the end of 8th grade, Rylan will demonstrate improved effort by continuing to work through challenges rather than giving up in 75% or more of challenging situations.
Progress Reporting: Progress Made
Evidence: Give example of a project that was really hard, like Rylan's TED Talk - highlight a time when you wanted to give up but you didn't.
Goal #4: By the end of 8th grade, Rylan will demonstrate improved respect by actively listening with positive body language and eye contact to all peers and teachers in 75% or more opportunities, with specific focus on “specials” classes.
