In our remote assignment we answered 11 columns and took notes on after reading the article, Malice Murder of Ahumaud Arbrey. Three men were accused of murder of a black man, named Ahumaud Arbrey, they hunted him down in their pickup trucks when he was on a morning jog. The shooter was charge with murder, but the others were let off with only a few years in prison. We took notes on 4 different categories, Malice vs. Felony murder, Citizens Arrest Laws, Self Defense Laws and the outcome of a trial.

In the Bill of Rights Quiz we were given 10 scenarios in which the Bill of Rights were either violated or not violated. We had to decide whether it was or was not violated, and why. I got an exceeds on this assignment because I answered every question correctly and with complete sentences.

In the courtroom vocabulary quiz we were given 13 words to match with examples of these words. I got a Meets on this assignment because I missed two questions. At first I was mistakenly given an exceeds then it was marked down to an approaching, nut after that I showed respect for myself and talk to my teachers about raising my grade, which after rechecking they did and I got a meets.

So far in Just Mercy we have learned about lots of the people who are accused and put on death row unfairly. Even Brian Stevenson has been almost arrested wrongly by white police officers. He is a lawyer with a high degree and he advocates for black people who are wrongly accused of unlawful activity. Brian Stevenson also is a free lawyer for those who need him.

In this quiz we were asked questions about the three branches of government. The three branches of government are the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. The legislative is made up of the house of representatives and the senate. The Executive is headed by the president and is the enforcer of laws, they also maintain order is all states.

On our just essay I got a meets because I worked very hard, used complete sentences and used correct grammar to explain the book.
