In this interdisciplinary unit, we will trace the evolution of storytelling as a uniquely human experience while also developing rich narratives of our own.
Background & Guiding Questions
I'm fascinated by stories! They play an important role in shaping our understanding of the world and our place in it. We can learn and grow as individuals, not only by listening to the stories of others but also by sharing our own.
In this unit, we'll investigate why humans have been telling stories since the very beginning and explore the ways in which the art of storytelling has changed over time. Our guiding questions for the unit include:
Why do humans tell stories?
How has storytelling evolved over time?
Why do OUR stories matter?
