I got a meets expectations grade because of the few missed questions I get this grade because I did not fully grasp the concept of the types of change in a chemical reaction.

The chemical theater exhibition was an exhibition that was supposed to be very fun for the presenters and the audience. How it worked is we would choose an experiment and then write a script that was fun and interesting. The experiment I had was magnesium and dry ice.

You and your group have been hearing rumors of a traveling circus coming to your town. Your friend texts your group chat saying that she bought tickets from their website, and that you could all go tomorrow. You had no plans so you accepted, just as everyone else did. You spend the next afternoon getting ready. Packing snacks and money. After meeting up with your friends at a park downtown you all drive to the venue together. Once you arrive you are greeted by the succulent smells of popcorn and funnel cake. You all find your seats in the second row from the railing and get comfortable, laughing and waiting for a fun night together. As the show begins the ringmaster steps on to the stage, welcoming everyone and informing you that toward the end a lucky group of people will get picked to come backstage and meet the performers. Your group is quite intrigued by this offer, and deeply hope that you get picked. After watching and enjoying the show the time has come, your group is chosen and led into the cast quarters. As you enter the back stage you find no one there. Suddenly the lights go out and you feel a sharp pain on the back of your head. When you awake you find yourself trapped in a dim room filled with different sorts of puzzles and tricks. The TV in the corner buzzes on and the ringmaster's voice fills the room. You are stuck and have an hour to escape before your soul becomes part of the circus forever!

This project was about how the three laws of motion effect rockets and their launch. We created a poster that demonstrated this.
I learned that the rocket does not push against the ground but against the rocket itself.
This will help me understand how to create a rocket and what I am up against.

Throughout this unit we have been learning about the laws of motion that everything follows. One of the main concepts is that when something is at rest or moving it stays that way until something acts against it. On the forces of motion quiz 1 I met expectations. On the forces of motion quiz 2 I also met expectations. On the forces of motion quiz 3 I exceeded expectations. I got good grades on all of these quizzes because I studied. I feel like I did a good job but did not spend a lot of time on it. In high school I know that I am going to have to study for all of my quizes so this helps me prepare for that.

In this exhibition each group went through a few different phases of production before the final design. We researched the forces that would affect our rocket and we learned how to figure out how to make our rocket better.
